Solution

Given data No of turns in the solenoid = 1000, Length of solenoid = o.5 m

Since the turns are uniformly distributed, therefore, no of turns per unit length = 1000/0.5 = 2000

Magnetic field at the center of the solenoid = 2.5 * 10^{-3} T
