Problem 9: The electric field at a point due to a point charge is 26 N/C and the electric potential at that point is 13 J/C. Calculate the distance of the point from the charge and magnitude of the charge.

Solution

To find the distance of the point from the charge, we use the formula V = Er (where r is the distance of the point from the point charge.) Put the values

Now

Put the values
